Due to the changes of the Nigerian Election, the inaugural contest was held on Friday February 22, 2019. The event was very successful due to the range of students from all over the region who participated.
The participants included students from Herald College, Larb College, Popoola Comprehensive College, Soaring Fountain Group of School, Samdeb Comprehensive College, God’s Will High School, Akod College, Treasure Model College, and St. Saviour High School (In Nigeria, College is equivalent to High School). There were 41 registered participants. A complete breakdown of the participants can be seen here.
It is truly amazing to see the dedication of these young women and their essays will soon be available on our website. In upcoming weeks, we will be releasing highlighted essays and announcing the winners.
